Things running through my head as I'm trying to study for tomorrow's midterm...
1. My 20 minute "power nap" left me rather groggy and to relieve such problems I'm drinking 2 lattes with a total of 3 espresso shots combined. I hope this doesn't keep me up all night because I will most likely pull an all nighter tomorrow and I need some energy to carry me through the test.
2. The Midterm. I have trouble matching the facts and dates swirling about my head. They will sort themselves out by the time test time rolls around right? Hoping for the best.
3. I have no financial safety net. I've had a sufficient amount in my savings up until I spent it all this summer abroad and now I have nothing! Living paycheck to paycheck to pay off my debts does not give me any sense of security. Trying to save money to buy an OC1. Might just have to wait till I get a real job for that.
4. Pandora! Probably old news for most of you. Amazing how it works and how accurately too. Just type in the name of your favorite artist or song and voila!!... a personalized playlist with your favorite genre!
5. A guy in my class is sitting next to me typing up the paper due Friday. I watched him bust out 3 or 4 pages in less than two hours already. That's gonna be me tomorrow night, except it will take 2x as long.
6. I found tickets to Chicago for $182 for spring break!!! Tempted to buy them even if that means I'll end up going alone. How can I pass them up?!
Congrats to my idol, Derrick Chan, for getting into medical school! He's always believed that hard work will pay off and watching that happen for him makes me happy. That news was the highlight of my day.
Looking forward to the weekend in the OC.

Prop 8
I received a call from a restricted number tonight, and normally that'd be my grandma calling me, but I had a feeling it wasn't. I picked up anyway and here's how it went:
Restricted: Do you know what Prop 8 is?
Me: No, I don't. (I vaguely remembered seeing a commericial about it.)
Restricted: Would you like to hear what it's about?
Me: Yea, sure, go ahead.
Restricted: Prop 8 is an amendment on California's constitution about traditional man-women marriages. If you vote yes, that means you are voting to keep traditional marriages. If you vote no, that means you support same-sex marriages. If you were to vote today, would you vote yes or no?
Me: I know what I'd vote for, can I ask how you would vote?
Restricted: I'd vote yes.
Me: I'd vote no. I support same sex marriages.
Restricted: Have you already made up your mind or are you still deciding?
Me: My decision's final. I believe that gay marriages should be legal.
Restricted: O....K........
Me: Have a nice day.
Restricted: *click*
That was for you, Jim.

Ouch.
My Spain withdrawal inspired me to blog again, but I had to make a new one since the other one would've probably thrown a few people off... and I guess it gives people like Jim a way to stalk me. Speaking of Jim, I finally watched The Office season premiere! No worries I won't be a spoiler, but lemme just say.. =O!
I picked up running again in addition to the running workouts for dboat. Day 2 of running on my own.. my hip isn't holding up too well. I'm hoping it's only because it's not used to the distance and the pain will go away soon. I was rushing down some stairs earlier and I feel like I pulled my groin. My entire right groin/hip area is shot.. it hurts to walk. =( Good thing I'm going in to work early tomorrow morning. Don't think I'll ever achieve one of my life goals of running a marathon, but hoping to complete a half. Anyone up for the Huntington Beach one? I hear it's a reaaaally nice view to run along.
